Good Deeds Day is an annual tradition of good deeds. All over the world, hundreds of thousands choose to volunteer and help others, putting into practice the simple idea that every single person can do something good, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others and positively change the world.

The Raleigh-Cary community has been participating in Good Deeds Day since 2013. JFS plans and coordinates projects for the entire community to take part in. In 2017, over 450 volunteers from the Raleigh-Cary Jewish community participated in 24 projects in 11 location to better the Triangle community.

This year, you’ll find projects for organizations such as Diaper Bank of NC, Safe Haven For Cats, Dress For Success, A Place At The Table, Rise Against For Hunger, American Red Cross and much more. Whether you are 3 to 103 years old, we have a project for you!
