In our busy lives, we don’t think twice before putting self-care on the back burner. Instead, we overwork, skip exercising, eat unhealthy foods and cut back of socializing with friends and family. But self-care is more important than you think. In fact, it is crucial for our physical, emotional and mental well-being.
Join Limor Schwartz, Director of Clinical and Social Services, as we make sense of the term “self-care”, discuss why we should not ignore and neglect it, and most importantly- practice simple ways to incorporate self-care into our daily lives. In this interactive workshop, you’ll be able to assess self-care’s role in your own life, create a self-care plan and come out calm, and ready to take care of YOU!
Registration is required for this event by 7/10- $10/person or $15/couple. If the cost is a barrier to your participation, please call JFS Program Coordinator, Debbie Ross at 919-676-2200 ext 129.
