JFS Food Pantry Wish List

The JFS Food Pantry is the only food pantry in Wake County that offers a Kosher section. Our Pantry offers non-perishable items and a limited amount of personal hygiene/toiletry items and serves residents all over Wake County. Food distribution to clients is by appointment only- Call (919) 676-2295 or request services online.

There are two ways to help the JFS Food Pantry:

  1. Purchase items from our Amazon Wish List (delivered directly to our office!).

  2. Purchase items at a local grocery store and drop off at our offices: Jewish Family Services, 8210 Creedmoor Road, Suite 104, Raleigh NC 27613. Food can be dropped off in the designated box outside our office at any time.

Items we usually need for our Food Pantry include:

  • Grocery store and gas station gift cards

  • Pasta sauce (Kosher brands include Barilla and Hoboken Farms)

  • Any type of pasta

  • Jelly/Jams (Kosher brands include Smuckers and Bonne Maman)

  • Canned vegetables and fruit, apple sauce (Kosher brands include Dole, Del Monte, 365 Whole Foods Brand

  • Peanut butter

  • Breakfast foods (Cereals and cereal bars, oatmeal, grits…)

  • Snack foods (Chips, Pretzels, crackers)

  • Kosher canned beans (Kosher brands include Bush’s Vegetarian Baked Beans, Goya Beans, Amy’s Beans)

  • Kosher soups (Kosher brands include Amy’s organic soups, Gefen Ramen Soups)

  • Kosher juices and juice boxes (Kosher brands include 365 Whole Foods Brand, Ocean Spray)
