For many older adults, negative cultural stereotypes about aging influence how we think and feel about getting older. The impact of negative thinking often affects us emotionally and inhibits our true potential. There are certain realities about growing older we cannot change. However, there is much we can do to redefine what it means to be older and live productively.
Join Abby Palmer MSW, JFS Senior Services Social Worker to explore how ageism affects us as we grow old. We will focus on the benefits of redefining aging, being proactive and thinking positively.
