Staying Connected
a virtual group for adults
Facilitated by Carla Huff, MSW, LCSWA JFS Therapist
Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom*, Starting September 24th
This program is intended for 6 sessions but may be extended depending on group feedback.
As human beings, we are wired to be social. Whether you are an extrovert or an introvert, we all need to connect. Social isolation and loneliness are risk factors for depression and anxiety.
If you are feeling isolated and in need of social connection or ways to cope during this time of uncertainty, please consider joining our Staying Connected group. We will meet weekly to have an opportunity to talk about how we’re coping, learn new strategies to help manage and to just connect. You are not alone, JFS is here for you.
There is no charge for this group, but registration is required. This group is designed for adults under the age of 60. For older adults, please contact Abby Palmer to be placed on the wait list for the next group. The group is limited to 8 participants.
